Duck Dynasty<\/em>\u00a0Fans Had Been Worried About Miss Kay<\/h2>\n

For the past year,\u00a0Duck Dynasty<\/a><\/em>\u00a0fans have been following the news about Phil and Miss Kay Robertson\u2019s health.<\/p>\n

In February, the Robertsons shared that Phil and Kay had\u00a0moved from their beloved Louisiana home<\/a>\u00a0to be closer to town, making it easier for them to receive the care they needed.<\/p>\n

Kay suffered\u00a0a severe fall<\/a>\u00a0in early 2025 that resulted in an infection. Her son, Jase, said the situation seemed dire, and he \u201cthought it was life-threatening<\/em>.\u201d Thankfully, she recovered.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Phil was\u00a0diagnosed with Alzheimer\u2019s disease<\/a>\u00a0and a blood disorder, and sadly,\u00a0passed away on May 25<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After Phil died, his and Kay\u2019s son, Willie, spoke to\u00a0USA Today<\/em><\/a>. He commented on his mom\u2019s well-being, saying she was \u201cnot in the best of health<\/em>.\u201d This comment made fans concerned about Miss Kay, and they anxiously waited for any news about her health and condition.<\/p>\n

Kay Robertson Dispels False News About Her Health<\/h2>\n

The Robertsons kept their followers in the loop about Kay after Phil passed away.\u00a0She spent Father\u2019s Day<\/a>\u00a0with her son, Jase, and his family. Jase\u2019s wife, Missy, said:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is surrounded by family and friends every single day. She\u2019s even back to drawing farm animals for the kids. Thank you for praying for her. She\u2019s an amazing lady!<\/em>\u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In June, Jase and his older brother Al spoke on their family\u2019s\u00a0Unashamed<\/em>\u00a0podcast about the\u00a0\u201cfake news\u201d circulating about Miss Kay\u2019s health<\/a>. They noticed the reports increased and became more exaggerated after their brother Willie spoke to\u00a0USA Today<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe just made a general statement about her health. Which could define someone at almost 80. Most people, I mean, generally, let\u2019s face it, you got some struggles once you get close to that number.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cShe is doing amazing, by the way. She\u2019s had a huge bounce back physically.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kay played her own role\u00a0in putting the rumors to rest<\/a>\u00a0when she appeared on the\u00a0Duck Call Room<\/em>\u00a0podcast later in June.\u00a0<\/strong>She, Al, Justin Martin, and Uncle Si, talked about the fake AI-generated posts that claimed she had been in terrible health and passed away.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe lives! You live mom,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Al said while introducing her to the audience.<\/p>\n

Kay joked,\u00a0\u201cThank goodness! I\u2019m tired of being dead<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Al And Jase Robertson Reveal Miss Kay Is No Longer In Assisted Living<\/h2>\n

On August 18, Al and Jase Robertson shared a new episode of the\u00a0Unashamed<\/em>\u00a0podcast.\u00a0In it, they shared some good news about Miss Kay\u2019s health.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cMom has not been in the best of health for a bit, [for] the last couple [of] years<\/em>,\u201d Al said at the beginning of the podcast. \u201cAnd then she got a lot better, I think, not too long after dad crossed over. But then she had a setback, \u2019cause she had to have surgery\u2026she\u2019s doing well again, the surgery was a success<\/em>\u2026she looks great<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jase and Al also said that Miss Kay is no longer in assisted living and has returned home to the Robertson family property. She\u2019s living with Al\u2019s daughter, Anna, \u201cright in the middle<\/em>\u201d of the Robertson family compound. She had just gone out to eat with Al and his family and had a great time.<\/p>\n
