Surely you, like millions of other morbid internet users (because let\u2019s be honest, we love a good gossip), have stumbled across that blood-curdling image on your Facebook wall or in your family\u2019s WhatsApp group. Yes, the very same one that heads this article. A photo showing a neck and shoulder that look like a war zone map, covered in eggplant-colored bruises, and above it, that incomplete little phrase that\u2019s the devil\u2019s bait:\u00a0\u00a0\u201cIf your partner does these hickeys to you\u2026See more<\/strong>\u00a0. \u201c<\/p>\n

Oh my! How many of you tapped that one with a trembling finger, thinking it was a meme, a joke, or one of those tips from a gossip magazine? Well, no, my friends! It\u2019s no joke! We, who aren\u2019t afraid of success or uncomfortable truths, went right into the heart of this story to bring you the real deal, straight to the point. And let me tell you, what we discovered is more intense than payday traffic in the rain.<\/p>\n

The mystery is over! That \u201cSee more\u201d was hiding a tragedy that almost ended in a wake with coffee and tamales!<\/p>\n

CHRONICLE OF A \u201cMARK OF LOVE\u201d THAT ALMOST KILLED \u201cBETO\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This urban horror story has names and surnames (which we\u2019ll change to protect those involved, because the shame is unbearable). Let\u2019s call our victim \u201cEl Beto,\u201d a 25-year-old hard worker, one of those guys who gives it his all in life. And his partner\u2026 Oh, God! Let\u2019s call her \u201cLa Yesenia,\u201d also known as \u201cThe Hyena of Ecatepec.\u201d<\/p>\n

It turns out that Beto and Yesenia had one of those relationships that are now called \u201cintense,\u201d but that my grandmother would call \u201csick and devilish.\u201d The kind where you say \u201cI\u2019m jealous because I love you,\u201d check each other\u2019s phones in the middle of the night, and ask, \u201cWho did you like, dude?\u201d<\/p>\n
