What were you thinking?\u201d the judge asked Sanroman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNot my best thinking,\u201d the disgraced educator replied flippantly.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-36397606\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/48328-jocelyn-sanroman-26-teacher-107431554.jpg?w=790&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"Oakside Prep Academy\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her attorney told the judge that unaddressed mental health issues were behind her sick actions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe made a tremendous error of judgment here,\u201d the attorney said. \u201cShe\u2019s working forward and trying to do her best to become a better person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victim\u2019s mother slammed Sanroman for the damage she did to her son.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI have watched my son change.
